Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Work Time Report Pro ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Work Time Report Pro is a web application that lets workers track their work hours and lets managers see their team's time entries and reports. The Service is operated by Surround.Services, based in Brazil.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
One person per account. Sharing accounts is not permitted on paid plans.
You may not impersonate another person or organization.

3. Plans & pricing

Guest mode (free)

The Service is free to use without signing in. Your data stays only on your device.

Free worker (joined to a paid org)

If your manager has a paid subscription, your worker account is included at no extra cost.

Worker Pro

$2.99 USD/month for individual workers.
Includes a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
Cloud sync across devices, multi-company support, full PDF/CSV exports.
Subscriptions renew monthly. Cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period.

Manager Pro

$9.99 USD/month includes up to 5 workers.
+$3 USD/month per additional worker beyond 5.
Includes a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start the trial.
Payment is processed by Stripe. By upgrading you agree to Stripe's terms.
Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period.

Prices are in US Dollars and may be converted to your local currency at checkout. Taxes (where applicable) are added by Stripe at checkout.

4. Trial & refunds

The 14-day trial gives full access to Pro features without a payment method.
When the trial expires without an upgrade, your account enters read-only mode for reports; workers can still log time.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you keep access until the period ends.
If we mistakenly charge you after cancellation, contact us and we'll refund within 7 days.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Track anyone without their knowledge and consent (workers must be aware that their time is being logged).
Harass, defraud, or harm others.
Send spam, malware, or content that violates Brazilian law.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the Service beyond what is needed for normal use.
Use automated tools to create accounts or generate fake traffic.
Resell the Service or use it to run a competing time-tracking product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without notice for severe violations.

6. Your content

You own the time entries and other data you record. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service. We will never sell, license, or use your data for purposes other than operating the Service.

7. Worker / manager relationship

Workers control their own time entries. Managers have read-only access to entries within their organization.
The Service is a recording tool, not a system of record for legal disputes. Workers and employers should keep their own backup of timesheets.
We are not a party to any employment relationship. We provide software; you are responsible for compliance with labor law in your jurisdiction.

8. Service availability

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may perform maintenance with prior notice when possible.
If the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our fault, paid subscribers can request a prorated credit.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Brazilian consumer law.

10. Termination

You can cancel and delete your account anytime from Settings.
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or remain inactive for more than 12 months (with notice for paid accounts).
On termination, we delete your data within 30 days, except as required by law (tax records).

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP, unless consumer-protection law mandates otherwise.
